223/5.56 with the same dies is fine. Just seems like you didn't lube the entire case? Make sure you get top to bottom. I personally use Hornady One Shot and works fine.

That is too much lube in my experience. I just lube the last third of the case from the rim up and then only every third case and never had a problem with .223 getting stuck.

Buy some Dillon case lube, It's lanolin based in alcohol. You put the cases in a bag or box ( I use a cardboard box), spritz them & shake them up. Wait a few minutes for the alcohol to dry off a bit. No stuck cases.

I've used a lot of different case lubes over the years. Dillon works the best for large quantities.

cut open the tube of lee lube and put it in the spray bottle. 2oz of lee lube and 8oz of alcohol.

no problems all weekend wiht the cases. probably used more than needed but just made for more clean up. that sizer die was nasty!

I use mobil 1 synthetic 5W-20 motor oil. I pour a little into the cap and dip the top of the case in 1/8th". I then proceed to wipe down the rest of my case with fingers. I find that synthetic motor oil works the best for me ( i was using rcbs case lube before, it was too sticky). I can go without lubing several cases afterword, but i still do anyways.

Best part of all is one $5 quart size bottle will last you a very long time....im talking years.

I used to have problems with insufficient lube for bottleneck rifle cases, I tried motor oil which was cheap and worked extremely well but was messy. Now I spray Dillon lube into a tupperware full of brass, shake it up, and its all good.

IMO 1 shot sucks, a lot of people (myself included) experience stuck cases with it.

I just did over 8k rounds of .223 with 1 bottle of Dillon Case lube.

+1 to Hornady one shot in tub. A little goes a loooong way. Keeps the hands soft too. I've done prolly 3000 out of my new tub and haven't even used 1/4 of it, $5.99. Never a prob. Don't over lube though or you'll get dents.

shot some of my reloads sat. had 3 primers that did not ignite they got good hard hits but nothing.... CCI military 556 primers..... never had this problem before.....

I use mobil 1 as well. I put my shells in a plastic grocery bag, dip a few shells into the oil and throw those into the bag. Then I mix it all up.

the Deluxe comes with a 'collet' die that doesnt' need lube because it sizes the neck only with collect against a mandrel. Full length resizing will need lube whatever brand of die you use.

I've used it only for brass fired out of a particular bolt gun. For auto loaders you'll need to full length size the brass.
