        I use 6.0gr of Unique under a 200gr LRN or copper plate Round Nose. It's hard to beat... (and I've tried )

            Bullseye is the original .45ACP powder. I also like Green Dot in the 5" 1911.

                    I use 4.5gr of Bullseye or 6gr of Unique under a 230gr LRN set off with a Winchester large pistol primer.

                            Very true with Clays, does not meter as well as W231/Bullseys at least on my Dillon 550B. If you love soft recoil this is one of many powders to use. 230gr FMJ at 3.6 -3.8 gr Clays.

                                    It's dirty on .45 ACP but squeeky-clean on .40 S&W. Someone explain that to me...

                                            Im personally a fan of AA #5, use it for all my pistol needs. Burns clean in 38, 40, and 45, meters very well.

                                                I discovered Alliant's POWER PISTOL about a year ago and now it is my "go-to" propellant for power/accuracy/cleanliness in .45/9mm/10mm/.40S&W. It's amazing stuff.

                                                        I use 231 for 45acp, 9, and 38 super. It works for every cartridge I load and for what I shoot. I have tried titegroup and it is pretty accurate as well. I still have a bottle of clays that I have yet to open up but someday I will.
