Besides ziplock bags and ammo cans, what kind of containers do you use to store your brass between picking it up and cleaning it / cleaning and loading?

Case Storage
"Or, let Oregon have the northern counties, let NV and AZ have the eastern counties, and turn the western counties into a Federal wildlife sanctuary where the rest of the country can come and see emotional, barely sentient Californians in the wild." - bulgronTags: None -
-home, and into a plastic bucket.
-Plastic bucket to the press for universal depriming.
-Straight from the deprimer into the tumbler.
-Out of the tumbler into loading blocks, MTM cases (I load hundreds, not thousands)
-Then back and forth from blocks to MTM cases for sizing and the rest of the loading process.
When my brass grows too prolific, they will exit the tumbler into another 2 gallon Home Depot bucket with airtight lid. -
Go to Walmart and get the plastic shoeboxes, they're stackable and comes with a snap on lid for a $1.50- or so, I've got a BUNCH of them.Comment

throw mine in a small box and when it gets full i sort them and put them into coffee cans till i have enough to clean. Once cleaned they go in large plastic containers waiting to be usedsigpic In order to succeed, you can't be afraid of failure.Comment

Depends, I sort different calibers into ziplock bags to be tumbled. After that they go in a clean ziplock bag or a bucket depending on how much of that caliber I have. I used the orange homer buckets from Home Depot because it's conveniently located a couple of blocks away.

Cardboard boxes from places like Powder Valley and Graf and Sons, lots and lots of cardboard boxes. When asked what qualities he most valued in his generals, Napoleon said, "give me lucky ones."Comment

In 5 gallon plastic buckets in the basement. Might put a lid on it if it's gonna sit for 6 months or more to keep the dust off it.
Small batches are in coffee cans and old plastic food containers.
Don't use cardboard boxes cause they can get damp sitting on a concrete floor in my area and cardboard collapses over time when stacked.Last edited by GeoffLinder; 06-29-2011, 11:00 PM.Comment

I use 1 gallon ice cream containers for my big 3 calibers. 9mm, .40 and .223. All are full, and there's an overflow.
From the range it all goes into a box. That box gets sorted by caliber, and then it goes into ziplock bags which hold the same capacity as my tumbler. They get deprimed and tumbled, then go into their respective buckets.
.308, 7.62x54r, .30-30 are kept in bags, because I only have a couple hundred of each.Comment

From the range-a grocery sack, after cleaning-into cardboard boxes or plastic mayonnaise jar-see through and will hold a few hundred of just about anything.Originally posted by NOMADCHRISyour asking a question about asking a question ??? just ask the damn question!!!Comment

I use those reusable Ziploc plastic containers with a packet of dessicant. Each one holds maybe 500 rounds of .223. I separate brass by brand and work in 500 round batches. I just mark on the container how many times that particular batch has been fired. They stack nicely and take up very little space.
