    I just soak the brass in hot soapy water to be safe and then de-prime as usual, I don't like surprises so this works for me.

          I use either the decapping die or a lee decapper & hammer. Either way works fine.
          I also reuse the primers without issue.

                  Decap or just load them up and shoot them. just press the gun into an old towel and you will muffle the noise down to acceptable levels for an apartment dweller...

                      If you reload long enough you will have one that ends up crushed with part of the cup not in the pocket or one in upside down.
                      A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

                        Yep there is always one or two that get crushed because I didn't get the crimp taken out. I decap thoseall the time just like a fired one. No problems ever!
