So why did you have it put away for so long? Life just happened?

Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...
I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.
Tis better to have Trolled & lost, Than to never have Trolled, at all.

Pretty much, all the way through highschool my best bud and I would spend late hours reloading to go shooting on the weekends. Ahh the memories of 80's rock bands on a cassette tape in the background while cranking rounds.
After that, life just happened and it got stored. Now, I am finally shooting enough to warrant reloading again and I have a place to do it at so I pulled it out....but their exists also in the human heart a depraved taste for equality, which impels the weak to attempt to lower the powerful to their own level, and reduces men to prefer equality in slavery to inequality with freedom.Comment

I really had no idea people would be all over .41 brass. I will let you boys know tonight how much I have available for trade....but their exists also in the human heart a depraved taste for equality, which impels the weak to attempt to lower the powerful to their own level, and reduces men to prefer equality in slavery to inequality with freedom.Comment

If you're comfortable with your load manual and your process, you can pick up a Loadbooks USA book from Midway or similar with all the recent data in .38, .357, and .45.
Sample here.
The three books combined will cost about the same as one reloading manual, but will give you more data on each."Everything I ever learned about leadership, I learned from a Chief Petty Officer." - John McCain

Ok got home, 200 in boxes.. and the bags were only the top layer of the bucket of brass. I have 2.5 gallons of brass to sort mostly 32 and 41 mag.
I just finished firing off the last of my 1994 reloads in brass and nickle. I loaded those bad-boys HOT HOT HOT. First one jumped in my hand. More than a little surprising! But they were tack-drivers. Every one fired, even the two I was dubious about due to external corrosion. Every load felt very consistent. I used to be damn good at this.....
I will be back after counting. I have three people in line for the 41mag brass. Remember money (or trade) talks everything else walks once I get the numbers up 1 day to stake your claim which means highest bidder.
Also PICTURES.. so you know I am not shining everyone on...

BUCKET O BRASSSSSSS
I am also set for life on .38 special now counting over 1000 cases.Attached FilesLast edited by meaty-btz; 06-14-2013, 8:33 PM....but their exists also in the human heart a depraved taste for equality, which impels the weak to attempt to lower the powerful to their own level, and reduces men to prefer equality in slavery to inequality with freedom.Comment

ok, I am a little disappointed. As it turns out the brass bucket had mostly not 41MAG but 45Long Colt as its "big brass" that I saw.
So grand total 41MAG: only 237 once-fired brass
also avaliable...45 COLT: 93 once fired brass (yeah odd number got me to)
free to good homes are the odd ducks of the bunch: 4- 44 MAG and 3- 44 Special (have no idea where those came from, must have been brass-picking at the range one day).
Turns out I am absolutely set with 45ACP and 38 Special.. my 38 collection is mountainous.... not including the brass I kept from my recent forays out shooting.
For the 41MAG and 45COLT, make me an offer. Someone said 7-10c a brass but I will take 7c a brass plus shipping. I wanted it to be more of one because I know bulk is king......
Also you can always tell the 1911's brass.. dinged to hell and back. Nice thing about wheel guns is our brass is always first class....but their exists also in the human heart a depraved taste for equality, which impels the weak to attempt to lower the powerful to their own level, and reduces men to prefer equality in slavery to inequality with freedom.Comment
