Are you are using the 550 or universal hex key tool holder? I can position my bin where ever I want. There are no clearance issues at all. Loosen the nuts, slide tool holder to the left, retighten nuts. They are slotted ya know.

I got my XL 650 3 weeks ago. And installed it next to my Hornady LnL. When mounting the Dillon, I have a 300 lb. three in thick work bench I also use for woodworking. Mounting the Dillon directly to the three inch thick platform, there was interferance with the full travel of the downward motion with the base of the handle hitting the bottom portion of the workbench. I ended up bolting a 3/4 thick piece of plywood that would ovehang 1 inch over the workbench. Very Solid. I could have bought Dillons other mounting hardware but opted not to. I also incorperated Hornadys Case Feed Motor Assy to the Dillon and works great.. It appears they are the simular. I find that Hornady was not intended to be a Auto Case Feeder. I'm still dealing with the issues. But this weekend I believe I have the solution of the Hornadys woes. But this is a Dillon thread so I wont continue

Had to laugh when first reading the header of your post. First thing that came to mind was you bought a new Honda dual sport. Then remembered I'm in a reloading forum. The iPad is nice also but you'll have fun with the Dillon. Wait anxiously each month for the Blue Press to show up in the mail.

By using numbers on the iPad i'm able to have my loads with me at all times. Now that apple has it available for the iphone and with cloud services coming i can always have it on my iPhone too.

This is what the table looks like. I can always work with it on my mac if i want.
To insert data on the ipad and iphone you can create a form like this

It's great to see loads i've done, how many rounds i've done of each load/ in total. I'm sure there are other uses i can do....just need to find them
