Just take 10 bullets and weight them.. You'll see that they'll vary by 2, maybe even 3 grains from bullet to bullet.. Combine that with brass, then primer weights, you could easily end up with a plus or minus 5 grains..

Best bet is to pull them and reuse the components..
I understand the variance between brass, bullet, and primer. That is why I suggested using the method to give you a set of suspect rounds. Instead of pulling all of the rounds, pull the heaviest half. Lightest half won't be double charged, considering the average charge is 4-5 grains. I know some faster powders use lighter charges, im just talking about the average though.

I have been using a frankford arsenal impact puller with great success, hit it on something like a hard wood surface. Remember, a few lighter whacks with it is better than one seriously heavy whack, itll live alot longer, and powder won't fly everywhere. Watch the bullet to see it coming out. Should work fine, like others said, not much more than 15 mins.

I like my FA kinetic pulled better than any other one I've owned or used and completely agree with your meathod of using it. I still would not trust using a scale to cull good rounds from suspect rounds. If you happen to end up with all other components on the light side and a double charge of powder, it would show as "normal".
