I have not ordered any as of yet but I was thinking of going with the MG JHP and using the load data for the Speer Gold Dot JHP.

I have loaded a lot of MG FMJ and they are my favorite 9mm bullet. Many of my friends who shoot competitvely favor the MG jacketed hollow points, seems they think they are more accurate, but that may be as much myth as reality. In either case, I think you will be very happy with these bullets.

The Speer GD load data should be fine for the MG for equivalent weights.

I think you will be surprised how fast you go through 4000 MG's with that 650xl. I am very jealous.

You might want to load a few small batches at first just to make sure they feed in your gun. Then you can pick up the pace a bit, knowing they'll work.

Ok another quick ?. I loaded up a few rounds last night using 124gr jhp's and Winchester 231 powder. It just seemed that the powder kinda got all over the the place kinda made a mess, am I doing something wrong or is that just one of the things you deal with using the cheaper powder and also the powder checks i did showed a difference of anywhere from 4gr's up to 4.2 grains. I have noticed that some of the powders out there look like a bar stock instead of the disc's and it seems like that would be easier and more consistent to meter? Am I incorrect on my assumptions?

              Thanks

Operate the handle in smooth motions, remember you and the 650 are just getting to know
each other. So there will be some teething issues. Dillon powder measures like ball and small flake powder the best like Titegroup, 231, Bullseye ect..... The inconsistent powder drops could be caused by how you operate the handle. Just go slow, the speed will come in time.

Is the powder seeping out somewhere or is it getting flung out of the case between the drop and seating stations when the plate indexes?

Probably this, sometimes hard to work the machine smoothly at first.

Loading cases with primers, prevents a mess too.....
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

This is exactly what it seems like its doing.
