    95grain bullet from Israel?!?

Question for my fellow Calgunners. A friend of mine sent me a pic of this 9mm ammo he has acquired. Supposedly this ammunition is no longer for sale and is from Israel. This hollowpoint ammo has some type of material inside the cavity. I have not seen the ammo personally, but he sent pictures of the ammo by way of text. These pics show the ammo to the left of a Gold Dot and the inside of the cavity itself. He wants to know if these rounds expand at all? Also if they are legal to use as a defensive round? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks for looking.

I don't know the ammo. But judging from the pics, it is designed to expand.

being only 95gr for it's size, it's prob of non-lead type core; sinter metal or powder metal construction. Might be training ammo or "anti-terrorist/non-ricochet" surplus ammo commonly seen in shotgun news awhile back.

shoot a water soaked phonebook and see.
