pmc brass leaves a ring of brass in the pocket primer. in order to correctly insert the primer, you need to spend alot of extra time to uniform the pocket primer. it's extra work, that's all. this is too much drama for me, i rather not deal with this issue.

A Dillon 1050 swages primer pockets so you don't even worry about this.

sorry ar15 barrels, but i mainly shoot my own reloads. i use gutamalen brass for blasting ammo, and now only lupua brass for precision. sometimes range brass get's mixed in the mix, when i pick up my brass from the local range. i might have around 30 pieces of pmc and lc on my next batch. let me see what i can muster up.

I saw the shelf space for it at the Wal Mart in Covina, but it's always empty.

The old PMC brass was great for reloading for semi autos. Pretty thick and robust brass. I still have some around that keeps getting loaded. Its fairly consistent, too. I have no idea how the new stuff from PMC is.

I've used the brass from the red and white boxes and it was just fine. I seem to remember some camo boxes a while back as well. I notice no difference in all of the PMC brass I have, no matter the box it came out of. It works great in my AR.

I like PMC and LC brass i am always happy when i find it at the range. All you need is one of these to remove the primer crimp http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpag...126&t=11082005

I haven't tired the new "Bronze" PMC 223 but I have three different older PMC's:
camo boxed marked "Ball M193", cardboard/stripper clipped M193, and Sierra Gameking 55HPBT PMC 223's. Out of these 3, the Sierra HPBT is not crimped(2nd pic, HPBT on left, ball ammo right).
Buy it and give it a shot I like PMC's better than the newer Rem green/white box UMC's.
