I can't tell you much now...
I was reading some of Mike McNett's posts way back when he started Double-Tap..he posted some recipes using 800X...I bought some but haven't reloaded anything yet. I too, have to run my tube of Accurate #5 out. (first)
In reading about 800X on some reloading forums, people do complain is doesn't METER very well. Mainly because it's not ball, its more like snow flakes.
I did happen to find a couple of pounds of Accurate #9...which is really good stuff...so I am debating whether to move to #9 for a while before getting on the 800X...
decisions, decisions...
Take care

#9 sounds pretty good......
product
Accurate No. 9 is a double-base, spherical powder that is ideal for high power loads in traditional magnums such as the 357 Mag, 41 Rem Mag and 44 Rem Mag. It is particularly well suited to the 357 Sig and 10mm Auto, providing high velocities and excellent case-fill. No. 9 can also be used with large magnums such as the 460 S&W and 500 S&W for economical target loads. Made in the USA.How do you travel...Comment

Yes...as one example:
Using a 155 Grain JHP (XTP) Hornady
15.9 grains (fills the case within 3/8 of an inch, just enough room to seat the bullet; no double charge possible)
15.9 pushes the 155'er at 1414 FPS and the pressure is only 32,700 PSI. Way below the SAAMI max of 37,500 PSI..!..very safe load that ZIPs along.
1400 FPS is a good speed for a 155 grain hollow point.May the Bridges I burn light the way.

Hey joelogic,
Is that a natural gas powered 550?
And, a super-charger powder scoop - wow! I've wondered if powder weight on top of the powder charge affects how dispensing goes when the tube is full vs. half-full vs. quarter full. Since you are probably the best person to ask - do you get even metering when your super-charger is full vs. when it gets close to empty? Just wondering.
Also - says .223 - does your case feeder work with .223? Maybe this is a 650?
Wow, impressive,
