The Hornady FMJBT are an exact dupe of the M193 bullet to my understanding as they are also a FMJBT with exposed lead base and cannelure in the same location and same bullet profile as the M193.

I have a couple thousand of them on hand and would let you have a small batch for testing if you can't find them anywhere. They are available from Midway in batches as small as 100. Midway shows them out of stock at the moment but available after Jan 21st.

Grafs is where I usually order. Also out of stock, but they are terrible about return stock estimates. Hornady are quite a good price, as are the federal. Armscor actually costs a little more and prvi are more than that. Gonna get in touch with hi-tech and try that. I dont think the accuracy will be hard to get. It's the velocity that may be more challenging

You realize that accuracy and velocity are going to intersect at a point that may or may not be at M193 velocity, right? You might get a bughole group at 3185fps that opens up over 1 MOA at 3300. Shoot what works.

Like I've said, I already know that. I have a .308 bolt action for shooting little tiny groups. I can always back the load down if I know there's an accuracy node a little lower. Like I said, I'm only looking for 1-2moa average. This is a 16" standard profile, chrome lined, with MOE non free-floated handguards. Not winning any accuracy contests.
