9mm powder/primer?

Powder: Winchester 231 for cast bullets, Hodgdon Titegroup for everything else.
Primers: Winchester, CCI, Federal, Wolf, as long as they are small pistol standard it all works.

4.2gr, but you should work up your own load from a recipe in a book.

I also tried some VV-3n37 on my 9mm's (6.2 Gr. 115gr Plated RN 1.142 OAL) and love it so much I just ordered 4 more Lbs from Powder Valley. The bad news is it is really pricey.

Bill, you are on to something so keep on searching...

My dad uses 2 pistol powders only... Unique and 2400 and swears that you can reload all pistol calibers well with either or. That is what he taught me and I have to agree with him. This is from years of experience.

That said, I use:

N320 = Light 9mm target rounds
N330 = Awesome rounds (my go-to...)
3N37 = Full power rounds that scream.

I use all three and love 'em.

I also have a Power Pistol load that words well too. WST is also good.
