Knobs for Dillon Powder Measure

I was browsing ebay and found several adjustment knobs for Dillon's powder measure. Some are just knobs which attach to the factory bolt, while some completely replace the factory bolt with and added knob. One even comes with a micro adjustment similar to a micrometer.

I was just wondering if anyone has one of these on your press.

Don't fool around with all the glue on knobs. Just get the Uniquetek I have had one for over four years and it works.

I have had a mrdial for six or seven years and I like it. BUT, do not get a new knob if you have kids or moron friends who might accidently readjust your knob for you. The reason that Dillion has not endorsed nor made their own is for safety.

Good point about the kids and moron friends. Anytime I walk away from a reloading session for a break, I have a habit of rechecking the powder throw again before starting again.

Hey Chief how difficult was it to install? Can you move it from one powder bar to another or do you have to one for each powder bar?

Once it is attached to the powder bar that's were it stays. Installations is very easy the glue takes around 24 hours to set up. Mine is on the small powder bar since i only load for .45ACP and 9MM. Would I get another one? Yes.

i got this doohickey long ago you slip it on the nut to adjust and you can take it off if you suspect a moron is coming for a visit

I have one of these on every powder measure. Just about anything is better than the factory adjustment bolt. I don't have to worry about anyone messing with it and I check weights frequently anyway. Cheap, glue on types, would be fine for me too. I've read that they are available at Home Depot but I've never seen them

I use some press nobs I found at Home Depot. No glue needed, really cheap, around a buck or so. I do have a MrDial on one powder measure. I have to many conversion kits to afford a MrDial on each one, besides reloading room is off limits to GrandKids. Always recheck PM adjustments before I start, during and when I finish a reloading batch.

they have knobs similar to this on grainger...I think the thread pitch is 1/4-20 not exactly sure

I use one of these, similar to the MrDial.

Very easy installation.

you can get a knob just like this one at Ace Hardware for about a buck.
I think it is called a flurette (sp?) they snap friction fit over the bolt, and you can write on them to show what direction to turn for more, or less...If you cant find one, PM me and I will send you one for a couple bucks. They look very much like this, without the dot.

I checked Home Depot and Ace for knobs but they didn't have any. Even the employees were not sure where to find them.
