I picked up an 8lb keg of Bullseye and 5000 large pistol primers from Bermans in San Bernardino for like 260 after tax.

Its on 6th street and tippecanoe.

I'm going to try their 310 with a 200gr swc and see how she does. Saw a thread over at 1911 that it was working well in 45acp.

Call Hawk at 951-898-9813. He a regular at Raahaugues and supplies most of the shooters there. As for Fowlers and the Stockage, if you're made of money, they might be a good option to get reloading supplies.

You'd be hard pressed to find any VV. I switched to WST.

Works GREAT! Softest shooting, consistent, meters well and clean. I'm loading under both moly RN and JFP 200gr and love the load.

VV is still available if you know where to get it.

The supply issue should resolve itself in the next several months once the new Vihtavouri/Lapua importers/distributors for the US (Hodgdon, Grafs) kick into gear.

Anyway, the only reason I was asking if Berman's stocks Vihtavouri is because my friend at my club specifically said the place in SB stocked VV and I was trying to correlate if Berman's was the place he was referring to.

If you don't mind driving to Covina you should check out Phillips Wholesale.He caters primarily to shotgun shooters, but he has a good amount of rifle and pistol components too.Good prices,if he doesn't have a powder you need, he can usually get it in a week.Good guy to business with.

Every high volume reloader I know has bought components from Hawk.

I mail order powder in BULK to save a couple nickels, but if you buy 1# containers or one 4# at a time, or buy primers a few thousand at a time instead of a few sleeves at at time...

powder and primers i usually buy in bulk or if im in a hurry from the reloading store in angeles ranges.

bullets i cast my own or i buy on ebay.
