Who's bullets are you using that are $70/1000 shipped? I'm shooting Moly bullets but they're more like $82/1000 locally

YES, you can run these through your glock barrel with no problems. The moly coating keeps lead from getting caught in the lands of the barrel.

This is my barrel after 2 or 3 months of IDPA events @ 4 weekends each month, approximately 100-125 rounds per match + practice time at the range (100-200 per week)

As you can see, it's dirty but not fouled.

Don't buy the hype that you can only use FMJ or plated bullets in your glock. If you go bare lead, make sure you clean your barrel after every time you shoot it.

Moly bullets 230g 45acp cost me around $70/k shipped.

I purchased some a while back and they load/shoot fine.
These are good bullets and they have great prices. I have loaded several thousand in 9mm.

Have any pics of their 9mm or .45 bullets? I bought some 180gr .40 FMJ bullets a while back and they seemed to have an odd shape to them, more of a square nose with slightly rounded shoulders... very unique shape.

Checked out Discount Shooters Supply and his prices where pretty cheap. Although he said he fairly new store about 2-3wks old, I am definitely going to shop there again. Real friendly and helpful.

My first/(and only :/) thousand .45ACP bullets came from zero. Precision delta is about the same price, and Montana gold is another source for about the same. (Montana gold has .223 and the others don't, but the .45 bullets are little higher.)

I'll be checking out that store ASAP, probably tomorrow if I'm not lazy after work, or Friday if my work ends up closed for the weekend (likely). Sounds like a friendly place. Nice to see some new blood around before my next gun purchase.

I'm happy with the 200 gr SWC from missouri bullets. Prices went up $2 since the last time I ordered.

I cast my own .452 200 grain swc bullets for next to nothing. After the initial investment of about $100 for Lee production pot, bullet mold, and wheel weights/lead ingots.

So far so good. Loaded 300, fired 100 thus far.
