Learned a bullet pulling lesson today with my ipact (hammer) type puller!!!

Amazing you could seat a primer upside down. How did they flip over? Im thinking it could have detonated on the press when seating. Good to know we cant pull apart an upside down primer. Glad your OK.

when i load on a dillon 550 some how maybe one or two in 500 flips from the primer tube feeder to the little arm

the real scary one are the ones that i wham in sideways and mangle it

Thanks for sharing the story, a good reminder that you should always wear safety glasses when handling powders, primers or trying to dislodge an upside down primer.

penetrating oil will diffuse a primer, just let it soak for 24 hours before attempting to use a inertia bullet puller.

I think I'll just stick with my single stage press a little longer.

I have 2 Dillon 650's & a Rockchucker. I bought the Bullet puller & collets for the Rockchucker, so I don't have to use that kinetic puller, which I hate!
Good investment, that bullet puller..
