I think your best option is to start reloading. I did and it saves me a ton of money. Brass hollowpoints .45 acp now costs me about 8-9 bucks for a box of 50. Compare that to the lowest price on brass I found that is reliable 24.99 fiocchi without tax, so youre lookin at about 27 or so. I save about 18 bucks per box, so load about 15 boxes (trust me this is not that hard) and you already made your money back on the press and all that equipment.

It's really a good idea, not to mention you can really fine tune your loads as well.

All the current owners manuals state that. My SA TRP Operator has dropped the hammer on close to 7K worth of 200 grain LSWCs reloads.

Yeah, mine too, but that dont stop any of us. Seriously, if you follow the directions and stay within recommended loads, check the cartridge so that its seated nicely like COAL as well as other stuff you'll get really used to, I don't see why you need to worry. Plus, how would the manufacturers really know what happened.

                Yeah mine directly says.

"This is only warranted with factory loaded 230 grain fmj brass ammo and original magazine."

So they expect me only shoot FMJ?! and only 230 grain?! and factory loaded?! and brass?! and original magazine?! LOL i already violated all of these then. I use reloaded 200 grain HP with Novak magazine. And also shot blazer out of my gun too. haha.

                  reload-reload-reload!

And stay away from clays, felt like I was shooting a black powder musket.

i pick up a box of .45 ACP Remington golden saber at Big 5 every two weeks for hoarding purposes. box of 25 goes for around $32.00 unless it's on sale for $29.99; it's hit and miss and obviously not cheap.

Wow! $32.00 for 25 rounds, that's what it cost me to reload 300+ rounds.

you might have good luck online as well if you can't find anything here or local

budsgunshop has some remington 230g in stock for 27 right now
luckygunner has some AE 230g for 25, remmy for 26, 250 round value packs for 115

they have non-plinking ammo too. good luck

                            +1 on reloading.

If you pick up some components, projectiles, primers, powder I can give you a crash course and you can load it with my gear. Im off the 10 freeway and 4th st exit. Bass pro shops or Ammo bros are good places to get your components locally. Hit me up (pm)
