this was @ sportmen's supply in campbell. i knew it was overpriced, but i've been having a hard time finding pistol primers and i've got a sh*t load of shiny brass ready for reloading. most websites are backordered on small pistol primers.

i would have waited for a good opportunity to stock up on decently priced primers, but it's spring break and i've got some time this week to load my rifle ammo. i wanted to get my pistol reloading out of the way as well.
Sure, you payed more than most would, but don't second guess yourself. Life is too short. Live and learn. The price of something depends on how badly you want it. Looks like you did. Enjoy the ammo you make. Happy shooting.

Extra 25 bucks for this next 1000 rounds of much needed ammo? That's adding an extra 2 and one half cents per round. Definitely worth it if you ask me. I wouldn't stress over it, as more money is always around the corner...

Yes it is, but when you really want something it is worth it to spend a few bucks more. Like Bagelthief said it is only an extra 2.5 per shot to do, still less than buying ammo from over-inflated rip offs selling WWB for $40 or more a box

You got raped hard. I bought 5000 SRP off this forum yesterday for $130 and that's the most I've ever paid for primers (excluding 50BMG and friction primers).
