I guess we need to know one more thing; is the "failure to feed" where the cartridge gets stuck at an angle going into the chamber or is it one where the cartridge enters the chamber but fails to go completely into battery? That would tell us alot more about what the problem might be. If it gets stuck at an angle and doesn't go into the chamber, then it could be the OAL, magazines, extractor, breach face, etc. If it is a failure to go into battery then it's an oversized case.

The round wont chamber(the slide and frame dont line up) and its a PITA to pull the slide back to clear it. Thanks for all the comments and advice guys. I would rather not polish the feed ramps because all other ammo works perfectly. I hope someone chimes in that is local so we can try to fix these.

If the bullets are too big in diameter, they can't be fixed.

Take the barrel out of the gun and drop one of the rounds in the chamber. Where is it binding?

Yup that is what is happening. It does it on every few rounds. Enough to get annoyed with it.

OK, then it is what J-cat suggested. It could be because the heavy crimp bulged the case mouth and so the cartridge is too big or it can be that the bullets were not sized correctly and are slightly too big. It could also be a combination of those two things plus your chamber being tight.

Look at railroader's post; that's the way to resize the loaded cartridges back down to where they should be.

oh........ok. Hopefully you can find a fellow CalGunner in your area that has a press; you may have to buy that cartridge sizing die.

Looks like its crimped not by using a taper crimp. Perhaps a Lee Factory Crimp Die might be a solution. YMMV.

Dude, throw those ****s away! You don't want to shoot random gunshow ammo through your gun. What happens if you fire a double-charged round (which is easily possible with these backyard reloaders) through your gun?

It's not worth saving a few extra bucks for slightly cheaper ammo.
