You must be a youngin! I'm only 43 and I remember paying a nickle for a candy bar. In 1998, when I stopped for gas on I80, in the East Bay, a whore propisitioned me with an offer of a $6 Lewinsky! Of course, I passed. $6 wasn't worth the risk of spending a lot more on medicine later. Yea, I can always find the best deals around.

Was at the Reno gun show this morning, MiWall was there selling primers, cci, wolf, federal, remington, that had lot's of wolf... most primers were $25 per 1000 but they were selling fast.... small pistol primers were running 5-10 more per 1k. Some good deals on ammo too. No powder sales due to local fire marshal rules.Comment

If your in Reno Sportsman's Warehouse is having a 10% sale for 5 days (don't know when it ends) on everything, besides firearms, optics and electronics which are at 5%. They have CCI SPP in stock, but limit to one 1k box per a day, if you are nice you might be able to get two boxes. I was there and the nice guy working the gun counter saw how happy I was to just get one box snuck me one more before I left. Most places in Reno now have a limit on powders and primers. I believe Scheels is 2 boxes of primers and 2 jugs of powder, but they are all out of SPP and have a very limited supply of powder. I stopped in after snowboarding and only ended up with primers during my trip to Reno.
In regards to the local fire marshal rules: It is weird because Cabela's couldn't stock powders bigger than the 1lb container due to the fire marshal, but Sportsman and Scheels both indicated that when in stock they had 1lb, 4lb and 8lb containers.Last edited by Dubels; 02-20-2010, 7:48 PM.IANYL.
