Hi, just want to get input on how much would you pay for small pistol primers on a gun show? Planning to go to Reno gun show this week but dont have idea how much to pay for primers.

    Thanks in advance.

Its normally about $30 per k at the gun shows here in the bay area. Not sure how much it is in Reno. Last time it hard to find SPP at the show. Order online if you can

30-35/K depending on brand, remember to buy a bunch to offset gas, parking and entrance fees....to make the trip worth while I would buy 10kish maybe more....shoot stock up for the year buy 40-50k....

Damn, the last primers I bought at a gunshow cost me $50 for 6000! OK, that was back in early 2009. Other than that, the last time I bought primers, I paid about $98-105/5000 from Miwal. I can't believe that prices haven't come back down close to that yet.

We all wish the prices were back to those of the good ol' days. expect to pay at least $30/k and up to $50/k depending on type

Thanks guys! So it will be a good deal if I can get $30/k. I just want to buy a case anyway. Thanks again.

Are you sure that was in 2009?

$8.33 for 1K primers doesn't sound like 2009 at all.

You can get them locally for $35/1k so I wouldn't pay more than that.

Yes, I scored! They were very old Remington primers packaged in cardboard boxes with wood dividers. They work great though. Sometimes you just get lucky and find great deals at gun shows.

I remember when a candy bar was a quarter, and you could get a hooker for $10
