I currently don't - only because I don't have the tools to uniform or clean up the flash hole, nor do I have a primer pocket uniformer. One of these days, I may pick up the tools, but they're not all that important to me at the moment...my next purchase will probably be a chronograph.

IMO, it only is important past point blank range

Match ammo only, I deburr the flash holes and uniform the pockets on Winchester .308 brass. Lapua .308 and 6BR brass gets used right out of the box.

No. I check the flash hole and if its too big I trash it. Maybe its just my lack of skill but I can't tell the difference. IMO there are more important factors to pay attention to for greater accuracy.

I don't sort my brass by weight but I do sort by type. LC, Rem, Win, Norma, Lapua all have their own bucket. For plunking its just a big bucket of crap with every brand thrown in. Hell, I even have some steel cases thrown in there just for color

I don't sort by weight but I sort by wall thickness with an anvil (small polished metal probe) and a dial indicator. I setup the anvil (probe on a v block and setup the dial indicator to touch the anvil. Then put the case on the anvil and turn the case and watch the DI needle. if the run out is .001 or .002 they go in the good to go pile and the .003's and .004's go in the "other " pile.
