If I could give someone any book to start with, I would have to say the Lyman 48th Edition.
I started with a 45th Edition old copy my Uncle gave me along with a LEE Loader in '83. Still have them both.
I have a special place on my bench for the Lyman's 46th as this is the book I really "got it" and was comepletely hooked with. I also got my first Press (RCBS Rockchucker) with it the same time this book first came out.
The 47th and 49th are also very nice but I really like the 48th.
