I was in Nevada Sunday and dropped by Scheels to pick up some reloading items, wrong.

I was there in Sept, and went to see what they had for ammo... Epic fail! What little they did have was over priced, and I can get that treatment here. Good thing I was already there for the Air Races.

Yea, Scheel's is always picked pretty clean.
Remember, you're in Nevada. There are a LOT of gun owners there, and due to it's rural nature, not a lot of places to buy things like powder.
I used to drive 2 hours to scheel's and cabela's from Douglas County NV - because they were the only ones (aside from Big5) that ever had anything in stock.

I had a friend that was visiting Reno over Christmas. He went to Cabela's for me and found some CCI LRP's. I was pretty surprised...and happy!

what an excuse, scheels sucks when it comes to ammo, I have found everything I need right here in Ca. I reload daily, 357,40,45,223, to day I bought large pistol primers, 500 45aco, 200 223 and powder all here in california. I am so tired of hearing people say you have to go out of state, every time I have been to Reno they have less than the local shops, the guy in grass valley is never out of anything, he supplies law enforcement and all the reno gun shows. I bet if you put the buyers at scheel and cabellas on commission you would find everything in stock!
