Here's my setup. Not too much out there since I only load 9mm at the moment, but I've got enough space to expand a little. Hopefully I can keep this bench as organized as you see it here, haha.

You probably think everyone is basically honest and of good character, right? I don't. Do you think it's smart to show the world that you have a stockpile of handguns and rifles, along with a large quantity of reloading powder? Tell me the point of that. If I were a burglar, I'd be looking at threads like this, where people are showing me that their house is a good target. If you're reloading, then you probably have a fair number of guns you're feeding. And it's not too tough to find out where a lot of these people live. I'd say it's just common sense to not advertise things like this, but there's a lot of people in this thread who have egos that overcome common sense.

Lets get this back on track....
I got my 650 set up and will get some pics up this weekend. I am building a new "frame" for more stability and will re-use the table top. I am thinking a simpl 4 post design (4x4's for legs) and 2x6's for lateral support. Probably right at the top and then midway. I may even do a plywood shelf under for extra componets. I am not a woodworker by any means so I need straight simple lines from my table saw.

Here's my bench which is built on top of a 10+ year old B&D Workmate 225 bench. The wood is 3/4 inch oak plywood and the base of the table is 2 pieces sandwiched together with glue and screws.

I've discovered that I might need to move my press over to the right some more because I can't sit centered in front of my bench without the press lever hitting my leg and chair. I'm dreading having to drill new holes and use wood filler to patch up the old ones.

That's pretty cool.

I just bought a 650 to upgrade to from my 550 and I'm going to have to build something to fit the casefeeder and all in my basement. It's about a 5' 10 ceiling down there to the floor beams above and I won't have enough height on my normal reloading bench for it all. I'll either have to shorten the case feeder or build a shorter side bench and almost load sitting on the ground lol.

How did you shorten it? Does it still keep up with you loading pistol? How about rifle (223)?

I'm very impressed by all of the setups, especially the dedicated garage/spare room jobs. Thanks for being willing to share your hard work and give us ideas for our own projects.

I'm currently working on my own project in the garage based on a work bench and Dillon Square Deal B given to me by my father. Thanks to Dillon Precision for the fast turnaround on a refurbishing job. Anyone wondering about how to justify the price for a Dillon product need only to ask an owner about their awesome experiences with Dillon customer service.

I'll post up pics when I've cranked out the first 100 rounds. Cheers.

Making Room

My old reloading setup consist of a 60" work bench I bought from Harbor Freight. Today I went to Lowes and picked up a heavy duty 5 tier shelving unit. I built them side by side as pictured. Having the extra room will be nice. On the wood bench I have my Redding Big Boss which I will be using for .308 and test loads of my pistol rounds. On the new bench will reside a Dillon XL650 which should be arriving later next week. More pics to follow.

Great looking setup, do you just have one for each caliber or....? Why not just use caliber conversions?
