I'm thinking of getting a chronograph, but I think I'll avoid that brand. Looks like a manufacturing defect to me.

The best one I had was Ohler 35P. The chronograph unit is out htere, and the display and printer is at your table.

Get the prochrony digital chrono from midway. Its $100 and provides EXCELLENT results. Don't invest in anything other than that. I have seen 4 people destroy chronos at public ranges. Bullet holes are not covered by warranties

This is an old article, but still applys and provides some real good info.

Need to add more powder to your loads. Bullets won't drop as quickly, and it'll at least punch through the chrony instead of being wedged in the face.

Looks like it was shot twice, was the 2nd one the mercy shot for the old steed?

Don't blame the chrony. It's obvious to me that the pistol was defective.

Oehler has apparently stopped making their handloader-grade chronograph. Bummer, it was probably the best one out there, but it was significantly more expensive than the competition.
