Prvi, Federal, PMC are all cheap brass cased rounds... you can't go wrong with either of them.

I am partial to PMC, but that's me. Just buy some samples and see what fits your needs best before running down to pick up a box of 1000.

My AR eats anything... PMC and Remington UMC have been just fine. I think PMC I found for the cheapest when I was looking.

just bought 1000 rounds brass cased from cabela's. came with 4 dry storage boxes too and free shipping. $374.99. so .37c a round. i found a place that had it for $329 plus 17.99 i think in shipping. but getting the 4 dry storage boxes seemed like a better deal

If you save your brass, you can probably sell the 1000 rounds for like 50-60 bucks..

Component prices are settling back down now.
Once fired 223 brass should be back down to $30-$35 per 1000 pieces here shortly.

AB962 passed and it seems to regulate the purchase of PISTOL BULLETS after feb 2011.
There's nothing in there regulating primers, powder, cartridge cases or rifle bullets though.
