Huh.. I've never swaged my primer pockets. I just rip them through my decapper and then scrape out the gunk, and load it up. . . never had a problem.

I used to do that in the beginning... didn't how material to ream off. Too much didn't look too good... not enough and I wasted primers. Got an RCBS swaging die... problem solved. Really liked my friends Dillon... REAL NICE!... and fast too.

            You want fast? Easy?

Chuck it in a cordless drill, zip the primer pocket for about a second, and you're done. By far the fastest and easiest method I've used.

I tried chucking it in my drill.... that little piece of rod sticking out doesn't stick out far enough for my drill to grab on. And I don't have a big enough drill that I can chuck the whole thing...

Talking about military brass that had crimped primers. After decapping enough crimp metal remains to prevent seating a new primer, unless the primer pocket is reamed or swaged.
                Revolvers are not pistols

pistol nouna handgun whose chamber is integral with the barrel
Calling a revolver a "pistol" is like calling a magazine a "clip", calling a shotgun a rifle, or a calling a man a woman.

I space the chuck jaws in between the "fingers" of the chamfer tool. Works perfectly in my cheap ryobi drill.

Ahhh... I see. I tried to put it on my Makita drill/driver with a hand chuck. Now I gotta go buy a drill... for cheap. Harbor Freight here I come.
