I have the digital dispenser it will save you so much time and powder that it will pay for it self right away. Not to mention going crazy dealing with loading and unloading powder, do it right don't go cheap you will end up getting one anyway

With a digital what kind of accuracy do you need? most the ones I see will only go to .1 gn. I have found one that I'm thinking about that will use .02gn. is this over kill and is .1 gn accurate enough for most things

          .1gr is fine.

It would have to have an enclosure, so it'll be a lot slower to use. Probably needs a carefully regulated power supply. And it won't make your bullet holes get any closer than they are with a 0.1gr scale.

Rifle or pistol ammo? Are you REloading or HANDloading? Is YOUR equipment capable of noticing the difference? Are your other cartridge components going to negate any potential gains?

Digital. Use em at work too. Never a problem, but always a good idea to calibrate occasionally anyways.

Beam scale is too much work. My primary is a digital Dillon D-Terminator and my secondary is a Lyman LE-300. Digitals are faster.

Maybe I just put my tin foil hat on to tight tonight, but in case of a extreme situation where electricity may not be available for a long while, I want all my reloading equipment to be manually operated.

                    Basically get both.
