The trick is the polishing compound, don't skimp on the stuff whatever you use. I only tumple for 40 minutes and the cases look new...but they are 45 acp and 9mm

What is the purpose of mineral oil in walnut media?

If you are using "Downy/Bounce Sheets" to help the media flow better, why add mineral oit?

Mineral spirits. Though I suppose mineral oil might work as a case lube...

They're a cleaning agent. From the Wikipedia page:

According to Wesco, a supplier of solvents and cleaning equipment, mineral spirits "are especially effective in removing oils, greases, carbon, and other material from metal."

Just to be clear, you guys are using USED dryer sheets.
I don't want my brass and media to smell april fresh.

You want us to use dirty TP sheets, so our brass smells like ****?
