The M118lr was replaced by the load below because RL15 was a double base powder and was heat sensitive and inaccurate when used in the temp extremes of Iraq and Afghanistan. (NFG)
The MK 316 MOD 0 cartridge below was "contracted out' to Federal ammunition and not made at Lake City.
