A 5 gallon bucket of each caliber you shoot is a good start.

This is my method too.
I shoot more 9mm than everything else.
It turns out that there are a lot more 9mm in a bucket than 223 and even fewer 308's than 223.

I shoot less 308 than 223 or 9mm so it works out good.

It's really easy to fill a 5 gallon bucket with 50bmg brass, but you REALLY don't use a lot of that.

I have never counted 9mm in a bucket but I figure if .223 is 3500 to a bucket theres about 9000 in a bucket.

thats how i roll, one 5g bucket of 5.56mm, .308, 9mm, .45ACP, .40sw, .38sp.... and the all stack with lids.... $4 for lid and bucket from the depot... you are set...

and always pickup brass when you can, whether its from the range or new.....
