Don't need any, but someone on Reddit was saying prices are crazy again, just checked Powder Valley, holy! I got some exactly 2 years ago and it almost doubled now! Out of stock most of them. Government stockpiling? Exporting to Ukraine or Israel? All powder went to fighting Houthis? What happened! Worse than even during Covid.

There is a world wide shortage of nitro-cellulose, which is one of the primary components of gunpowder.
You add the strain of the supply chain for make 155mm shell for the military, since we are sending TONNES of them to Ukraine.?The constitutional right to bear arms in public for self-defense is not a ?second-class right,? subject to an entirely different body of rules than the other Bill of Rights guarantees.? ?.. Plenty available near me at local places but price is higher. Heck even ar plus I was getting for 25 a pound is up to 37 bucks now. I should have bought more than 4 when I did. Got a couple 335 for 31 then too.
But we all showed what we would pay when flippers were making a few bucks on it just a while back.Comment

I received an email from Hodgdon yesterday with a $20 off offer on a $150 purchase, and their prices were as good as I have seen anywhere and the discount is automatically applied to shopping cart which was a bonus.
“Save $20 on orders of $150 or more and hit the bench this Spring Break with this limited time offer. March 11–15 only. No promo code needed. Discount automatically applied at checkout.

At the height of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq we were consuming 70 million rounds of small arms ammunitions. Thats not including all the heavy munitions for the Army Marines Air Force combined. We did not have a shortage on the home front and prices were low. The Ukraine and Israel conflicts are not the problem.Comment

Dang! So glad I stocked up way back. Still have about 5 lbs of Bullseye left and 10k primers. This will last me forever at the current rate of shooting. Haven?t been shooting at all the last two years. Prior to, I was burning thru 300-400 rounds a session.

This has nothing to do with supply chain and has everything to do with a few corporate companies coming together and creating a monopoly on price. They lost a lot of money when Trump took over and they are going to make that 10 times fold. This is all price manipulation and profits driven. Just go look at these companies and how much money they make off their margins it?s through the roof.
This is not only happening in ammo or reloading supplies. It?s happening all over the place. You have a small group of companies owning products in a certain sector and colluding to drive up the price to increase corporate profits, this has nothing to do with supplying demand and everything to do with Collusion.Comment
