Broke press

As of the 20th no notice of shipping. Still waiting. I hate to keep bugging them. This is my lesson in learning patience.

Heard from FedEx. They have my press and it is on it's way. I will assume a complete press because I sent just the main body and it was 10 lb. The tracking # says the package weighs 21 lb. Should get here by Sat before 8 PM. CS, gotta love em.

Yep, RCBS rocks CS!
Not certain that they still make the Rockchucker as you own, they have a newer model now, I don't think that it's quite as good, but you make up your own mind on that.

Called this morning. All they wanted was a picture of the proken part. I am sending the receipt also. He said most likely they would send a new one out. Gotta love them.

American for Chinese.
I'd go to eBay and find a nice used one.

RCBS CS rocks. Got the complete press. Now to get used to the new primer ejection direction. No more plastic tub to catch them in.

Yeah, a buddy just got a new RCBS Rockchucker and it doesn't catch primers well. I also doesn't have a primer tube anymore, each primer as far as I know, loads by hand.

44 year old RCBS Rock Chucker. Noticed a hairline crack on one of the swing arm ears while cleaning the press. Removed the pin and the ear fell off.
Do I notify RCBS or chalk it off as a well used, got my money's worth experience. I know they have a great CS reputation.
I hope the picture came through.

The new press has a plastic snap in that redirects the primers that come out the back of the ram. It stays in place by spring action and is more stable than the original.
I have a hand primer so the primer tube issue is not a thing.

When I purchased this press 40 some years ago for $44 RCBS was all I knew about.
I think I got my money's worth. Not sure what the "blue" comment is about. Different brand?

Dillon fan bois sucking up to their brand. Dillon makes nothing like the Rock Chucker, and their warranty for the stuff they do make is no better than RCBS.

On the plus side, you get the privilege of spending three times as much to get the blue paint.

Thanks for the info. I actually used the new press this afternoon. Other than the ram being about a 1/4" longer( had to adjust my dies), the cam over at the end of the stroke felt firmer also.

Sorry your rcbs is junk Chinese now. People have been reporting new broken presses.
As I've posted above as I have been searching ebay foe for a used good RCBS press. I'm just not ready to buy one yet I have blue and Pacific Red.
