Thanks boss...

Let me ask you something. I ordered a pro 1000 setup for 45LC. I've got dies for all the calibers I reload. I know I need shells plates for other calibers. I'm just thinking sizing, flaring and maybe priming later on. What else do I need for caliber changes?

If you're just changing calibers, then the shell plate is all you need to change. If you're changing calibers and the primers are a different size, then you need the primer conversion kit:

The pro 1000 has a metal carrier that the brass cases slide ? My 4k press has a plastic track for cases to slide on

The shell plate and carrier are both made of metal.

Hey fellas, so I got the Lee pro 1000 setup to size and flare..I ordered the bench mounting plate for it. Do any of you know if you can mount the RCBS single stage Rock chucker to one of these bench plates?

What bench mounting plate did you order? If you ordered the Inline, they make different plates for different presses that mount on their riser.

Going from the description, it is only drilled to fit all current Lee presses and no others. I saw a few pics on Amazon that showed users that mounted the Rockchucker, so you might be in luck.

I had a plate from Inline that fit a RCBS Jr., and I just drilled holes for a Lee press I had laying about. Worst case, you might have to drill some holes.

I'll take a look at it when it comes tomorrow. I also saw some of those pictures.

I wonder if one of these will work, the plates kind of look the same. It could be that these are just for their own system.

This quick change mounting system is really nice.

I ordered the 4" tall bench mount and a plate for my RCBS Rockchucker Supreme and Lee Pro 1000.

It's something you guys might consider if you need an easy system to swap out presses. Its a real solid system.

It really is a good system and the cost isn't too bad for what you get.

The 2 plastic wing nuts that lock the plates down seem to be the only weak point. They're not the best.

I've been using Lee Pro 1000's since 2009, the ones that use the Auto-Prime based priming system. The new Lee Pro 1000 (2023 update) has an improved priming system, based on the new Pro 6000 press, which I've come to really, really like. I'm therefore going to upgrade one of my Pro 1000's (the .38/357 one) to this new style and see how it goes.
