.41 magnum/2400
I just thought I would show some .41 magnum/2400 load data and results.
Bullet- Gallant 215 coated LSWC
Primer- WINWLP
Powder- Alliant 2400
I am a literal brand new reloader. I had shoulder surgery in October, so I was kept away from my other passion (bass fishing). I decided to take up something I have always been interested in doing- reloading. I am going to stick with the 2400 for full magnum loads, my next endeavor will be to settle on a nice plink/target load. Pictured are the first five shots out of the brand new Blackhawk I picked up the day before this range trip.
Data dump:
16.0 grains 2400
1329 FPS
1328
1321
1328
1329- (1327 average)
16.5 grains 2400

I'll throw in a lead-free Varmint Load I just developed for my Rem 700 .223.
Bullet- Barnes 36gr Varmint Grenades @ 2.215" OAL (I seat @ .020" off the lands).
Brass- PPU
Primer- Rem #7 1/2
Powder- 27.4 gr of Win 748
Velocity- 3,690 fps (24" barrel)
This load looks promising on paper (better than 1/2 MOA out of my rifle); however, I haven't taken anything with it yet.
Typical disclaimer- this load is safe in my rifle, do a load work up to make sure it's safe in yours.Last edited by Paseclipse; 05-28-2023, 1:19 PM.

I just got a bunch of new, .41 Magnum, primed brass. I don't yet have a .41 Magnum revolver in which to shoot it. It looks like I might need one more gun after all....
So, thanks for your load data on this. Of course, I'd check it against my reloading manuals; safety first!"San Francisco Liberal With A Gun"

Just out of curiosity - at what distance?Pictured are the first five shots out of the brand new Blackhawk I picked up the day before this range trip.

Best load for 9mm for me:
--115 or 124 gr Berries plated bullet - Round nose flat base
--4.0 grains of TiteGroup
--1.14x COL
--Winchester Small Pistol Primer
--Various case headstamps
--No crimp
Typically yields 1050 fps +/- 20 fps (I load light for the Lugers) using a Caldwell Chronograph and I've shot through the same hole at 20 yards in the past (vision is not what it used to be now) but they still yield 1" groupings at 25 yards if I am not hopped up on caffiene.
It will allow me to hit 75-100 yard metal silhouettes consistantly.--Magazines for Sig Sauer P6
--Walther P-38. Prefer Pre 1945
--Luger P08
