12 & 20- Green Dot and Hodgdon International Clays powder. Easy on the shoulder, and they go “boom” every time.

I had a killer Hodgdon Longshot hunting load for dove that ran upwards of 1500fps, but that went out the window with the lead ammo hunting ban…

        Still experimenting with 28 gauge.

If you don't have a Nosler manual you might want to get one. It is somewhat unique in that it shows the most accurate load for each powder listed and it shows the most accurate of all powders tested.

From it for a 6.5 CM:
          Nosler 140 gr. RDF
          39.5 gr IMR4350
          For me a .270" group.
I'd agree with you but then we'd both be wrong...

+1. A bit pricey, but worth every penny. I refer to mine all the time.

This really needs to be a separate forum. Good stuff you don't want to lose with a multitude of unrelated posts.

If you're looking for recipes, just ask. Makes it easier for all involved.

That said, I rarely trust any recipe offered (especially online) without bouncing it against some known source.

As above - Ken Waters Pet loads
                            Also available from Amazon
Once can also develop loads through other research. I just bought QuickLoad, but haven't played with it yet.
There are some people that it's just not worth engaging.

It's a muzzle BRAKE, not a muzzle break. Or is your muzzle tired?
