Yeah - I used that 2400 up (Winchester 92 in 25-20) before I made it into a decoration.

Didn't Brian at OC Reloading have a Hercules 2400 tin with a lamp and shade before he moved? Maybe I saw that somewhere else. I have all mine on display over my reloading benches. Powder tins from the 90s 80s 70s 60s 50s 40s 30s 20s 10s 1900s and 1890s. It's great American history there. I'll post pictures for you all.

Have seen lamps made out of them. They were pretty nice.

Here you go. Some of the price tags make me smile. $1.20 a # $0.98 a pound I loved it.

I guess you could reuse em if you use the same powder...

I was doing some loading today and noticed a $21.00 tag on a bottle of W231, and that's not all that old.

That's a cool display. Thanks for sharing.

It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

Plastic? I've got quite a few you could have (not asking anything for them.) You'd have to be down in the Bay Area to get them though.

Taking from prior suggestions, I re-use the empty smaller 1 lb jugs by removing the original label, fill it half full from my 8 lbs jugs, and carefully label the powder type/brand, date it was poured. Thanks everyone!

I use the empty 1lb black Hodgon powder containers to hold reloaded ammo. I think it fits about 150-200 rounds (40sw)

Put tape on the outside with the label of the load / bullet weight / round count / powder grain....whatever notes i need.

Easy to grab, throw into my bag and go to the range. Its durable, heavy duty, has a tight lid, protected from the elements and is reusable.

Just wanted to throw out what I have found the 1lb powder containers to be useful for.

While not as practical as the previous posts, my contribution may be fun to some. After finishing a 1 lb. container I rinsed it out with water then put some sand in it. Put it in the container for my deer hunting gear and took it with me on the next trip. While we were gathered around the evening camp fire I pulled the powder container out, looked at the label and shook it so that all could hear there was something in it. Said it had gone bad and tossed it in the fire. Everyone scattered while I was laughing do hard I almost cried.

Find something square for storage. You lose shelf space using round cans/bottles.
