The problem is not reloading. It's your fixation on reloading.

I'd amend that to read "It's your new fixation on loading".

A lot of people who are new to reloading tend to believe everything they see is a must-have accessory that will make things so much easier and faster.

Most people who have loaded for a while realize that you only need the tools that get the job done. The new stuff is analyzed a lot closer for any advantages it (supposedly) offers, and contrasted a little more with the cost of obtaining and using it.

Can't say I'm immune to this, but I have yet to buy, say, a Primal Rights primer seater or an AMP annealer.

You’re just a kid with a new toy. I’ve got a buddy that’s nearly as old as my dad. I found out he reloads or did at one time then I found out he likes to drink buy stuff yet completely sober. So I told him to stop and call me anytime he sees something he wants to buy. He also watches YouTube and can tell the difference between the idiots and the experts. So there’s an hour long conversation and corrections to his newly gained thought process.

Reloading is work, it takes focus, I can find it relaxing at times but anymore it’s nothing more than a means to an end.
New cartridge development is fun.

well if you have a couple of Dillon 1050's or 1100's, i can help you set them up and make sure they are working correctly, just ship them to me and i will set them up for you, it might take a few months to make sure they are working correctly before I send them back, all calibrated and ready to go. Don't worry, I will do this for free because its you.

Reloading is absolutely a disease, many of my friends say I only shoot to use up my ammo and spend more time reloading, I sometimes think they are right.

Then added additional calibers and eventually a progressive because I got into competition.
