Simple fix. Seating Die is Threaded down way too far. Back out the dir a bunch . Problem solved

Or he started crimping before he started seating, I only say that because he wants to know what caused his bullet to peal, that bullet should have been in the neck of the case and the neck of the case should have been in the neck of the die.

No, I bet he's using Hornady seating die. I've done this before and that's what it was. Ita screwed in too far, he set it like a resizing die by touching the shell holder. Back it out a bunch. RCBS and Hornady do that

Guys, did you read that I loaded 10 rds just fine and then these two happened with no adjustments at all.
I put the die back in the next day and loaded more without any issues, the same settings. No crimpIt takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.
Happiness is a warm gun.

Those cases didn't catch on the case neck and jam the case neck down and fold the shoulder like an accordian.
Use a VLD reamer on your whole batch of cases and you probably won't have any more problems.Randall Rausch
