I kind of suggested this in post #2 but it didn't seem to get through. Maybe I'm on OPs ignore list. I can't blame him for that. I've tried to put myself on my ignore list.

When I read post #6 I figured reading manual and books were out.

Lord knows I can't read a manual. I just can't do that stuff anymore. My ADD kicks in on the first page. I have to go to YouTube or get short answers from here.

If new to reloading, the first thing to do is get a reloading manual and read it thoroughly. Some pages twice, or more. Then start with some of the low end loads in the manual. There really is no other safe way of approaching this. I like Modern Reloading by R. Lee. Another good place to get load data is from the powder manufactures' Websites, but only after understanding the reloading processes documented in the manual.

I use H110 for full magnum loads and HS-6 for more pleasant shooting magnum loads. I use magnum primers for everything.

Completely agree with this, and you'll find similar responses in other reloading threads. They'll(Good reloading manual) tell you the most accurate round out of the load table, the fastest etc. I have Sierra, Speer, and Ken Waters Pet Loads.

I found a 158gr over Unique makes a nice load for use in revolver and lever action rifle. I tend to use JHP so there's no leading the barrel, but most of my stuff is not stiff loads.

                  Go get some books

Revolver or rifle? Max load for the revo is usually too much for the rifle.

158gr JHP , magnum primers and over 15gr of H110 is a pretty hot load out of my 4" GP100 but right at max for my 20" B92 lever gun.

I'm pretty sure your 92 can handle anything your gp100 can.

If you look up rifle loads in 357 mag they are lower max powder amounts for same combination of bullet and powder type than for a revolver.

The modern steel 92 action is a tank.

Full house powders, h110 and w296.

                              Medium house, cfe pistol.

I've got the hornady and speer manuals bc their bullets are available in my area.
