I have tried surfing their web-site in the wee hours of the morning and it's still dog slow. They have lost several orders from me because of this issue.

Maybe all their sites are on the same server. Have you noticed how they have a different domain for half the countries in the world i.e. http://www.midwaydanmark.com/ all those Danish slowing things down as usual.

I'm not having problems with the speed of their service, just the speed of their web-site. Not only do the pages load real slow, sometimes I get connection errors.

No, the problem is on Midway's site. It seems to be ok if you shop by the product numbers.

But if you want to browse, the website is so slow that I give up and shop somewhere else.

They have been pretty slow since the redesign,but they do have good selection and prices. Try Opera 10 with turbo mode enabled to browse for items, it speeds things up.

Have to say I haven't had much of an issue with their site being slow.

Only issue I've had is that a bunch of reloading stuff I ordered back in March is still on backorder and the delivery date keeps getting pushed back.

And all this time, I thought it was my computer that was the problem. I have given up on a Midway order because of the slow connection. I just called them with my order and it was much easier. Shipped out next day.

Yep. Nothing loads during busy times...nothing.

That being said, as others have mentioned, they are always very fast getting your stuff onto the truck, and very good about sending tracking updates if there is a tracking number for your package. I buy from them without hesitation.
