They didn't mind taking her money back in November, though. That's bulls#$t.....
Better than paying the adjusted price when it finally gets delivered.
What would be bs if they tack on the price difference before completing the transaction.

You would have to have used many different brands to know the differences.

I live in AZ. Was able to get 30 carbine dies (carbide) in person. Wonder if they set some aside for walk ins, or if I just happened to snag a less demanded caliber

I've used many different brand dies but only in single stage pressess. However, the Lee's work very well in my progressive presses and I can't imagine another brand working any better. But, technically you're right...... I do remember then I have a set or two of RCBS pistol dies that I've used in my progressives as well. They work just as well as the Lee's, as in no issues whatsoever.

Dillon dies have several unique features that make them better in a progressive.
Standard dies are engineered for single stage presses where you set the case and bullet in the press and align them straight.
Dillons dies have more ‘funnel’ at the bottom that better aligns bullets and cases that are not sitting perfectly.
Also the spring loaded decapper pitches off those rascal primers that get stuck on the decapping pin and drawn back into the cases.
Then there is the unique seaters and crimper inserts that you can remove to clean out lube and lead without having to remove the die from the press.
There is also some feature that knocks out stuck cases from the sizer but I have never had to use it.

Called Dillon on another issue this past Monday. At the last minute asked about M1 carbine carbide dies and was surprised to hear they had 22 in stock. Ordered Monday night along with a conversion kit and delivery came on Thursday. Merry Christmas to me! Take that supply chain!!

I run all dillon dies on my 650 and 750, but on my other 650 for 9mm I run a redding seating die. No problemo.

Yikes. Never paid more than $30 or $35 for a set of dies.

Dillon Dies have been $50 and up since the 1990's when RCBS were $25.

Is that for Lee die sets or do you buy used dies?

Wow. Bought a 550 kit in March. Upgraded from a rockchukar. Still waiting on Dillon dies to date. But at least I had Lee dies to setup tool heads with for now. Swap to Dillon dies when they come in

                                Dillon order update.

I placed an order for 9mm dies on 4-15-2021 (Tax Day).
They just arrive yesterday. I'm glad that I was forced to pay for them back then, as my price was $80. Those dies are now selling for $120. That's a 50% increase.

                                Let's Go Brandon!!!
