    Look What I Found

I found these today when I was packing up my ammo closet. Check out the price and where they were bought.

A couple years ago I found some I bought at Payless Drugstore. They shot just fine.

The boxes are now worth more than the ammo.

I have some .22 from best products. It was under $10/ brick
                Maybe .79 or 89 / box.

I remember White Front. Yeah seems like maybe a standard sort of sale price back then. Not sure if I ever shopped there myself though.
I did shop at Gemco and Fedco .....

There was a place here in Scottsdale called Smitty's, it was just like today's Super Wal-Mart. Sometimes they had .22 ammo on sale for $0.49 a box of 50.

                        Yep, a penny a round

Smitty's great place for a fast cheap breakfast.

White Front, shutdown because they could not control the loss from shoplifters.

I guess they were practicing for Prop 47.

Back in the 1960's we shopped a lot at White Front and Zody's. Moved to AZ in 1971 where I saw my first Yellow Front. I have a couple old boxes floating around in my ammo cabinet too, Mohawk .22 and a few Yellowjackets I think.
