Appreciate the help guy’s. Finally able to make a couple range trips to shoot some test loads. Shooting 4-shot groups, as that’s what the magazine holds. I really need to work on NOT flinching/anticipating the 1st round. Did it on almost every group.
Anyway, found a winner!

Varget is excellent powder, however the downside to it is that it can sometimes be very challenging to find. Even during normal times.

That looks like Sac Valley. I use 44g of Varget on a 175g bullet. I'm not saying it's wrong but I heard that 308 likes near full power. Proceed cautiously.Comment
