Should be $300-$400 for a box of 1000 rounds of 9mm. Anything over that is total bs and I will never ever pay that type of money for ammo. F that noise.

This was normal a year or 2 ago, not now.

Looks like it's around $800 for 1000 rounds of 9mm.

Wow! Ten months ago I got 2 cases of 9mm , with shipping I paid $150 per 1K rounds. At the time I thought I was overpaying by about .05 cents a round.

Not surprised to see CTD pricing their .223 at $2 a round, they are one of the biggest rip off's on the 'net.

With what I’m seeing around my neck of the woods, 1918 ammo prices are wishful thinking. I can’t believe 1K of primers are selling for $100+!!! I just can’t spend that much for my better half would cut mi huevos. I wouldn’t say I have enough ammo, but if the S hits the F depending where in Komifornya you are that 1000 round stash of (fill in the blank) can go overnight. Hopefully the ammo and guns brought to me by bad guys buying the farm will be good stuff.

Probably be overtaken and or killed before that.

If you ever look in a bad guy's magazine, it's a hodgepodge of mixed rounds, weights and projectiles. Unless he's a "gun guy", I wouldn't count on finding anything good off a dead gang banger.

When at the range, sometimes you just need the "red-tub" to collect brass in,
so you dump the remainder in with the plated, if the same charge, and same weight projectiles, once the load is tested, and if they all cycle well...

I imagine a lot of the high dollar buyers are people who just bought a gun for fear of the end of the world due to pandemic, etc. To them ... they need ammo, not useless money.
You know it's not regular shooters paying that much because we are used to normal prices and wouldn't play them. But people who just bought a Glock 19 for $1000 and have no ammo will pay that to have the ammo ... so they can store it in the closet with their Glock unused for the next 40 years.

at these prices, I'd consider dumping...anyone sell ammo on GB to other states? do they ***k you like ebay does?

I was offered some good cash for a box of 5,000 primers that I have as "extra", I almost did it, but not sure when I could replace it and if I can't replace I will eventually need it for my own stuff. The guy at the gun store was almost drooling as I walked in, he knows what I have bought in the past and was hoping I wanted to sell some primers and powder. Weird feeling walking into a store and the store owner asking if you want to sell at a good profit but until I get a crystal ball that tells me when I can replace, I am not selling, I want to shoot and not worry about running out.
