Not all brass is created equal. Compare the LC to the Lapua in pic below, both new and unfired cases sat in their boxes on the same shelf in my garage for over ten years until I opened them a few months ago.

2) looks like de-linked ammo, hence the case scratches.

If the primer crimp is intact, then you know they're not reloads.

Throw it in your tumbler for an hour or two and you will have shiny new brass. Or shoot it as is.

If it bothers you, you are welcome to come over and run it through my tumbler a bit. It will look good as new and shoot exactly the same.


I actually only shoot ammo I load with the exception of mislurp rifles.
