Like the time I went to a estate sale. Bought a bunch of lead head 38s. I didn't have a 38... Lol. I had to buy a old pre model 10 just because of the darn lead heads.

Just wondering. Could someone who has the molds for bullets "harvest used lead from the dirt hillsides at many ranges? I would think there has to be tons of lead. Dunno, just wondering.

BTW, I pick up .357 and any .223 & 556 that I see being fired near me. Usually it is people breaking open new boxes. I also pick up .45 acp and give to a friend as I do not shoot .45

I've seen lots of jacketed stuff at the 200 yard mark. I don't know how to find lead that is worth it for me and I don't want to sit around the garage melting and making bullets, rather just buy the tips in bulk.

You could most likely trade 'em for shotgun hulls...
