My lee dispensers suddenly started leaking.

Both of them! I have an autodisk, and a perfect powder. The autodisk is maybe 5 years old, but the PP is probably 10.

The PP always seeped a tiny bit, but now its pretty significant and makes a decent mess of powder. I tried the youtube fixes of burnishing the insides and polishing. It helped, but its still leaky.

I cleaned the autodisk and made sure everything looked right. It does. It just leaks now. I bet I could sand down the mating surfaces to reduce clearance, but it seems odd that it would loosen up.

Are these old models that have been updated to fix this issue? I see theres a deluxe perfect powder now. These items are so cheap that I don't really mind just replacing them, but I don't want to buy new ones if the new ones are worse or do the same thing.

They have both worked so accurately that I'm reluctant to change brands, but the leaking is annoying.

So change to deluxe PP, and maybe autodrum instead of autodisk? Buy the same but new? Change brands because they all leak?

Replace them with a quality unit. Try something like RCBS, Redding or such. I have 2 RCBS Uniflow units I got in the 1960-70's and they still work fine.
A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.

Ditto on the quality of the Uniflow, but I would contact Lee and see if they have a fix-it for the issue, might not cost you anything.

        I’m in Venice. I have a Uniflow with a micrometer I haven’t used in 5 years.

        Lemeknow if interested.

Keep the Perfect Powder for loading long stick powders like IMR 4064, they generally throw that stick powder pretty well. If you're using ball powder, especially Winchester 296 or AA2520, they'll leak like a sieve.

Same powder throw. 748 meters no issue, 1680 no issue....H110 a God damn mess. I put a tray underneath regardless to catch whatever doesnt make it into the case, but man H110 does not like my thrower.

I had the same issue, and on top of that, random +/- 1.0 grain at times. I just gave up and bought a small Uniflow. It meters the H110 very well +/- 0.1 grn.

                  leaking where?

it all depends on your stroke do you go down up or up down
my default mode is up so the chamber is exposed to the powder

You have to replace the silicon wiper occasionally on the Pro Auto Disk. Over time they dry out and shrink.

I replace mine every few thousand rounds. It doesn't leak.

                    Part AD3396 for product LOAD-MASTER 45 COLT (Code=90946)

My Perfect Powder measure is still clicking along. Maybe try to order a new drum from Lee or Titan.

Few thousand? Im definitely overdue! Thank you, that has it be it. I didnt know it was available separately.

As for the perfect powder, it leaks from the drum. Just straight out. I think i'll give the deluxe model a go, its pretty cheap and the normal one has been very accurate... just the damned leaking. Mine must have 20k+ loads through it.

I had 4 Lee Auto Disk on Classic Turret (will be on Breech Lock Pro soon), they are ALL leak. I read and watch every things with tittle "fixing leak on Lee Auto Disk", did all the recommendations.... still leak. Send back to Lee once, after get it back still leak. Now I have to live with it.

The most leak is : RamShot Trueblue powder. All of these leak (less) about the same: titegroup, HP38, W231.

                        Good luck.

My lee auto disk, when new, didn't leak at all. It was awesome and an incredible time saver. Consistent too. It just started leaking one day.

My perfect powder always leaked, but now it leaks more. A little peppering of my desk every single pull.

Mine leaks A#9 but with N350 it doesn't. Now I make homemade dippers using trimmed down cases to accept just the right amount of powder I need. Dip and level off.

What kind of Reloader accepts a leaky powder thrower?
